The laws of physics and electricity apply equally; however, the methods of electrical installation, protection and safety are quite different. Distance, different words and "phraseology", different work practices, habits, and ideas are reasons why it is difficult for American electrical professionals to understand the French system, and vice versa.
It is worth exposing these differences in order to promote better understanding.
